Liberal Studies Department
The Liberal Studies Department at Ugunja Technical and Vocational College is dedicated to nurturing competent professionals who are committed to improving the well-being of individuals, families, and communities. The department offers Social Work Level 6 and Social Work Level 5 programs. These courses are designed to provide learners with a strong foundation in social work principles, community development, counseling skills, social welfare services, case management, advocacy, and human rights. Students are trained to understand and respond to the social, economic, and emotional challenges affecting individuals and communities while promoting social justice and inclusivity.
